British actress Samantha Bond has been announced as a patron of mothers2mothers, following in the footsteps of Annie Lennox and Salma Hayek, who were named patrons in December.

Bond commented 'I am honoured to be a patron for mothers2mothers and to join the 1600 Mentor Mothers that are committed to creating a generation free from HIV. I have had the opportunity to spend time with several mentor mothers since supporting m2m, and have continuously been astounded by their strength and resilience'.
